Why we have this policy

Haaniam puts trust ahead of listing volume. This policy explains which businesses we list, where information comes from, how verification works, and how any business can claim, correct or remove its profile.

Where listing information comes from

We list a business only when its details come from a legitimate source: the business's own official website, information the business submits to us, permitted public registers, or direct contact with the business.

We do not scrape or copy listings from Google Maps, other directories or classified sites.

Every profile shows its source and the date we last checked it.

What we publish

We publish business information that the business itself makes public for customers: name, category, address, business phone, website, opening hours and services. We do not publish home addresses, personal numbers of individual staff, or information the business has not made public.

Verification levels

Listed: shown from official public information; not claimed. Claimed: the business controls the profile. Phone Verified: we verified the phone number. Identity / Business Verified: we checked relevant evidence. Trusted: objective performance signals support it. See trust & verification.

Claims, corrections and removal

Any business can claim its profile, correct details, or ask for removal through the provider form or the contact form. We act on requests as quickly as we can, and we remove a Listed profile if the business asks us to.

Ranking and payment

No business pays to be listed or to rank higher. Results are ordered by relevance to the search and, in lists, alphabetically. If sponsored placements are ever introduced, they will be clearly labelled and kept separate from organic results.

Reviews

When reviews launch, only customers with a real interaction will be able to leave them. We will not write, buy or incentivise reviews, and we will not remove honest negative reviews. Reviews that break the law or our rules (for example abuse or personal data) may be removed.

What we don't list

Illegal goods or services, weapons, adult services, gambling, services that require a licence the provider cannot show, or anything that could put people at risk.

Keeping listings current

We aim to re-check Listed profiles at least every six months. Profiles that we cannot confirm are updated, marked for review or removed.
